Ode to the Stars

Stars twinkle like diamonds in the vast, dark sky,

Each one a wish waiting to be born,

Guiding travelers through the night gone awry,

Silent keepers from dusk until morn.

They are whispers of ages, long passed away,

Of ancient kings and wanderers brave,

Tales of love that forever stay,

Locked in the secrets the constellations gave.

Some call them flames from heavens afar,

Others see dreams bound by fate,

But in their silence, they are what we are,

Reflecting our hopes, both love and hate.

So we look up, seeking their light,

Knowing they burn in lives of their own.

In the dance of darkness and blinding bright,

We find we're never truly alone.
